SWEEPSTAKES RULES: Miami Monopoly Woman’s World Sweepstakes
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
2. How to Enter the Sweepstakes- To participate in the Miami Monopoly Woman’s World Sweepstakes online, an entrant must register at www.WomansWorldMiami.com and remain in compliance with these rules throughout the duration of the Sweepstakes. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted. Any additional entries received from the same entrant will be discarded. In order to enter the sweepstakes online, the entrant’s name, daytime phone, birth date and e-mail address must be provided to website as part of the online registration process. Throughout the duration of the Sweepstakes, the e-mail address given by the entrant will be used for the purpose of notifying the entrant.
3. Privacy Policy- Entrant’s name, postal address or e-mail address submitted for the purposes of the Sweepstakes will not be released to any third party not involved in the Sweepstakes without first obtaining permission from the entrant.
4. Prizes- One grand prize and 10 runner-up prizes will be awarded. One (1) entrant will be randomly selected as the grand prize winner and will receive a 4-day, 3-night oceanfront lodging at The Palms South Beach hotel, airfare totaling up to $700, and a copy of the Monopoly Here & Now game. 10 runner-up prizes will be given in the form of a Monopoly Here & Now game. Limit one prize per entrant.
5. Sweepstakes Period- The Sweepstakes period (the "Sweepstakes Period") begins November 8, 2006 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time, and ends on January 1, 2007 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (the "Sweepstakes End Date").
6. Winner Selection- Winners will be selected in a randomized drawing to be conducted within ten (10) days of the Sweepstakes End Date from all eligible entries received. The random drawings will be conducted under the supervision of Hasbro and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau representatives, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by e-mail message or phone call within seven (7) days following the drawing date. In order to win, entrants must have provided true and accurate information and may not be in violation of any of these rules as determined by The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau.
7. Eligibility- This Sweepstakes is open to lawful residents of the United States excluding Puerto Rico. Employees of The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Hasbro, Inc., Woman’s World, and their affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate family are not eligible. Subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations. Void in Puerto Rico and wherever prohibited or restricted by law. All Entrants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration to enter into the Miami Monopoly Women’s World Sweepstakes.
8. General Conditions- No purchase necessary. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules. Taxes, exchange rates and duties, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize-winners. No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted. The prize-winners must send e-mail or verbal confirmation to Hasbro or The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau within 10 days of notification. Prize-winners will be required to submit valid identification and execute a liability/ publicity release within 10 days following the first e-mail or phone notification. Failure to comply within this time period will result in disqualification and awarding of the prize to an alternate winner. Winners agree to use of their names and/or likeness, age, gender, and country of citizenship for advertising and publicity purposes worldwide in any and all forms of media, without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. All federal, state, provincial, territorial and local laws and regulations apply. Hasbro and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau are not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry information whether caused by an entrant or an equipment or technical malfunction or for any technical error or malfunctions or clerical errors. Hasbro and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Sweepstakes Rules, the selection and announcement of the winner or the distribution of the prizes. Hasbro and Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau reserve the right to halt or cancel this Sweepstakes at any time without obligation or prior notice. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Hasbro Inc, The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Woman’s World, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prizes won. Hasbro and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau are not responsible for notifications that are misdirected or not received because of e-mail addresses or mailing addresses that are no longer correct. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made during 10 business days from the first notification attempt, such person may be disqualified, with an alternate winner selected. Any prize notification or prize returned as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Throughout the Sweepstakes Period, any failure to accept or receive e-mail from Hasbro or The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau regarding the Sweepstakes will result in the automatic disqualification of the entrant from the Sweepstakes.
9. Unsolicited Bulk E-mail Policy- Hasbro and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau strictly prohibit the sending of unsolicited bulk e-mail or electronic messages of any kind to unknown individuals or individuals that have not consented to receiving such information. In addition, an entrant may not make any false or deceptive misrepresentations with respect to any and all prizes received from Hasbro Inc and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau or with respect to prizes that potential Sweepstakes winner is likely to receive. If an entrant violates the Official Sweepstakes Rules, the entrant will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes and will NOT be eligible to register again for any subsequent Sweepstakes in the future. Disqualification shall become effective when written notice of disqualification is mailed or e-mailed to the disqualified entrant at the entrant’s last known e-mail address or mailing address.
10. Internet- If for any reason the Internet portion of the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection caused by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Hasbro and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Hasbro and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau reserve the right at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, Hasbro and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau further reserves the right to conduct a drawing to award the Prizes using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Hasbro Inc and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Hasbro and The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading of any materials in this Sweepstakes.
Entrants may not enter false or multiple e-mail addresses nor may entrants use any other device or artifice to enter false or multiple e-mail addresses. Any entrant who attempts, directly or indirectly, to enter multiple or false e-mail addresses under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter multiple or false entries will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute, entries made through the Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, or Internet Service Provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
11. Winners List- The names of the winners may be obtained by sending a self addressed stamped envelope to Miami Monopoly Woman’s World Sweepstakes, c/o Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, 701 Brickell Ave., Suite 2700, Miami, Florida 33131
